Amazon’s #1 Book in the Dreams category

Thanks for your support, everyone. It has been a great debut for our new book “Dream it!”. We actually earned Amazon’s “#1 New Release” in the “Dreams” category. Hopefully that is a foothold in having the book go mainstream and change the world. I really do think that if the next generation of kids all have inspirational dreams, the world will inevitably become an awesome place.

The vocabulary of “Dream It!”

As with most aspects of a children’s book, vocabulary — or should we say diction? — or should we say word choice? — can become a complex topic, especially if you want to teach them new concepts, like how to dream. Even the word “dream” has two very different meanings. Let’s dive a little deeper into this topic and have some fun along the way.

Finally, the best part of the whole project — the book celebration. We were honored to have hundreds of community members attend and support both the book and the monarch butterfly.

Help Save the Butterflies

Making of the Monarch Butterfly School Photo

This is another one of my favorite all-time photographs. Unlike the past three photographs where I was standing on the roof of the school, this is photographed using a drone. It took hours of preparation and was called off several times. Read more about how I made this photos.

Spot the International Space Station

Here is an easy backyard adventure that I have done 3 times already. You can easily spot the International Space Station flying overhead. It looks a lot like a fast airplane except that’s a lot higher and traveling thousands of miles an hour.
